Sunday

Messy Me

She got up and walked out of the bedroom or actually her new makeshift art space. When she stepped off the carpet onto the wood floor she heard click click.. Looking down she saw a paintbrush stuck to the bottom of her shoe. Working hard? Or really messy?
I choose working really hard.

Pictures from Megan's shower. I really liked not playing games and instead making collage pages for a book for Megan. Fun and a good keepsake. Corey tell Katie for your shower.

Thursday

Disney Christmas and summer sunset

Spent the morning getting coffee at MickeyD's, went to work to change my mailbox, Panera Bread with Tricia - she suggested bringing Corey a danish at work, saw Corey at work (ahhh that was so sweet), went to Sams, then home, little teannie *how do you spell teenie? art show at SC, flurrie at mickeyd's, so I started the day at McDonald's and ended it there, sad commentary. But I had fun with Tricia and I need to surprise Corey at work more. I think she liked it. thanks Tricia!
Pictures of a summer sunset on Lk. Jessup.
It's August and behind the scenes at Disney they're already starting to get ready for Christmas.

Monday

hotter than he...........

oh man, did I ever forget how hot schoolbusses (sp) are. I had to drive today from 12:30 to 4:00 eeeegggaaaaddddssss!!!! I think I lost at least 10 lbs. The pants I bought that fit so well were falling off, yuk.
Disney has spoiled me with their cadillac - airconditioned - super nice - busses.

Wednesday

he pushed and I pushed right back..

Chuck came home and told me about an art show through Seminole County. He said I should enter it, 4 -5 days before the deadline. Hmmmm... I thought what do I have that I could enter? The only finished pieces I would consider were some photographs. He didn't seem to like the idea. He thought a painting. 4 - 5 days right. So I entered a photograph for Corey the one below.

I entered a photograph for Chuck.

and two photographs for me... I have to say this was a leap of faith for me and not wanting to feel alone in the endeavor I dragged Chuck and Corey with me.

Day at Animal Kingdom

Dino land

sunset in florida, pretty

Sorry, these are kind of out of order.. Dad really liked his hat. You can see their new kitten that they found in their yard. She's a cutie.

The safari ride through the wildlife area was really neat. The trucks are real trucks not on tracks. And no fences at least none you could see.

so cute..baby giraffe

Somewhere in Asia

I haven't ridden a roller coaster in forever. I rode this and it was great fun!!!!!!!!

Saturday

Thinking about time...

Tomorrow I turn 49. Time goes by sooooo fast. One daughter's married in California the other's getting married in November. We'll be empty nesters. It will be strange.
Friday I finished all my testing, for a while, and now am official. I will be working night shifts 'till 3 and 4 in the morning and trying to sleep days. It should be interesting. I did it in the truck. I should be able to do it here at least I'll get to go home in the morning.
Haven't had much time for pictures which is sad because I've seen some awesome sunsets. I had to stop at work last night to let the deer cross the road, gorgeous.
Looking forward to time off, though short it may be.
Chuck baked me a cake today. He did a fantastic job. It looked professional. Wish I'd thought to take a picture before cutting into it.
He took me to see "Transformers" and yes that is what I wanted to see. Like the science fiction, special effects movies. Liked it - except saying life was created by some sort of cube, weird. The cars were fantastic. Want a truck like that and saving my money for a new camaro!!
Seriously, not really, very happy with what I have and I got my windows tinted, yeah! Here in Florida a must have.
I'm bouncing all over the place tonight. I guess 'cause I'm not used to being up this late and trying to get used to it.
Anyway, playing with my camera examples...

Wednesday

Catching up thru pictures

Coffee shop moment at home complete with computers for everyone

We had a lot of fun with Jesse home. She's back in California now being a California girl. I miss her.
Work's been long lately because of training and getting ready for the test I took yesterday but I passed and passed well. My trainer told me or has been trying to talk me into being a trainer. I don't know. I think I want a life outside of work but I don't have to make any decisions soon. You have to work 6 months 1st. I have to say - so far - it's the most enjoyable job I've had. We shall see.
I need to take pictures at work and post them. In time.

Tuesday

very slowly catching up

Tired I am. Long days at Disney. Training is long and much to remember. Interesting people, strange people, people who are sadly without God or a real reason to exsist. I sound very down. I'm really not. Some of the training has actually been fun. Some of the people are fun to be around. The landscaping out there is really pretty. Lots of wildlife. I mean actual animals.
Jesse got back to CA safe. I miss her already.
Corey's going to get her wedding dress altered tomorrow.
The picture; fun in the sun with my hon.

Thursday

Slowly catching up

I've got a lot of catching up to do. Jesse got home last week so we've been busy. I'm training at work so I've been really busy with that also. Busy, busy, busy...
The 1st day she got here she decided the dog needed a makeover and painted her nails.
The dog was just so happy to have Jesse home - she very patiently let her do it.
I'm sorry I was going to post more but I'm tired maybe later this evening.

Wednesday

Dear Moms;

We decided to get a family portrait while Jesse's home. Let me know how many copies you would like.

Friday

Usually don't post 2 times in one day but...

One of the advantages to living in Florida getting to see and hear the space shuttle launch from your front door.

Corey and Christopher are celebrating 6 months together today. He brought her flowers. I like to take pictures of flowers. Fun for everybody.
