Sunday

surprise date

Ok..so I'm a little weird in I have a fascination with cemetaries, especially old ones. Chuck told me Friday he was taking me somewhere Saturday morning to get up early and be ready to go by 6a.m..and take my camera. K, so I was expecting who knows what. When he told me someone at work had found this cemetary with civil war union soldiers he had me ready to go! Unfortunately, the area is getting ready to be developed and they are moving the remains and graves to somewhere North of here and it looked like they'd already started so there were only two we could find. It was hard to find because it was off the road in the brush and trees but it was fascinating. I looked up the names online and was able to find one. He was 22 when he served with the Massachusetts Calvary and was a saddler. But the questions still remains, why union soldiers here in Florida?
Oh - and an old Apopka railway station.

Tuesday

Easter and Monday

We went to Chuck's mom's for Easter a yearly tradition. I need to make sure I get pictures of everybody from now on. I got busy doing other things and just forgot.
But I got a few.

Monday I went to Tricia's to craft together. I couldn't get going so she picked my colors and set some guidelines to help me. It ended up being something to remember my Uncle Bud who passed away recently.

Sunday

He is Risen

He is risen indeed! Sunrise service. I like being outside for church!

Friday

Random Friday

Today starts my spring break, yay!! So spring cleaning is 1st on my list, believe it or not, yay! These are pictures from the last week.
Everytime it rains this little squirrel sits on the down spout and sleeps unless I wake him up taking pictures.

Last week I tried a new recipe for roast. It's a little more rare than I like it but Chuck liked it alot and it was very tasty.

I got a text last Saturday from Jesse..can I come over and color eggs with you..still my baby

Elsie just kind of got bored with it all

I went to Mom and Dad's a couple of weekends ago, aren't they cute together? And Mom's cat really reminds me of Catalina.
