The tree is up. And the Barbie tree is up. And the Christmas gifts are in the kitchen, dishwasher and fridge, and a hawk. Like the title says random-ness.

Yesterday was a lovely day spent unloading refrigerators and taking down cabinets to make the new one fit. The whole day was working to get ready for the dishwasher and fridge and then reloading, reading, and trying things. I still haven't finished getting everything put away though. We had to move the china cabinet too so they could get it through the door. But it's nice to not have to worry about leaks and actually having things that work
Terry and Donna, Christopher and David, were here this past week. The only chance I got to see them was Friday night. It was sooo good to see them and spend time with them. I wish they, or we, lived closer.

Corey and I went to the Great Day in the Country in Oviedo. One of the most interesting things was the pony! and the little owl and the opossum. I did see 3 booths that interested me 1.altered art jewelry 2.glass ornaments with clay figures inside that made you say how'd she get those in there, you know like ships in bottles and 3.a man who did funny 3D collages. And that was about it. Too many commercial booths spread throughout the show. But the weather was awesome and the company.
interesting, a "Hannah Banana" tshirt getting donations for cystic fibrosis. If you know me you know that my friends daughter died after a lung transplant-infection. Her name was Hannah.

they come in 3's, and sketchbook
I've been hearing all week things come in 3's. Our dishwasher quit and flooded the kitchen, so gotta replace it. The fridge has started leaking and is old and needs replaced...so what's number 3?
Trying to work on the sketchbook project which will be about our time in the truck that's why I picked....you'd be home by now..

finally...
Finally got it arranged in my mind how I'm doing the sketchbook for the project and started the cover art. As soon as it's done I'll post it.
Went to Mom and Dad's yesterday with Jesse. Always a nice visit and good food.
Going to Corey's today and a few other - have to - pit stops.
Wish I didn't have to go back to work tomorrow.

wow, 2 posts in one weekend - breaking a record
Today we went to the Winter Park Fall Art Festival and I didn't get any pictures. I just wasn't in the mood to take them. Don't know why. I like this show because of the time of year and how Not crowded it is which is probably not good for the artists. It was nice.

Poor neglected blog.
It's Saturday and Chuck is working again. He woke me up at 5:45, "Vickie, Vickie, I thought you wanted to get up." Me, "No, why would you think that? Leave me alone!" pillow over my head.
"Vickie, what did you do with the dogs last night?"
My toe goes over the edge of the bed and cold dog nose makes me jump. "I don't remember, leave me alone!"
Chuck, "What I don't get any coffee?"
"Fine!" So I'm up on my day off and now can't go back to sleep.
I've ordered pictures and blogging but I can't remember passwords this early to some of the stuff I wanted to get to. Anyhooooo....
Last weekend I got productive and made two loaves of homemade bread, chicken enchiladas and corny corn muffins. The bread was almost no knead bread from Americas Test Kitchens. Some of the best bread I've ever made. That's saying alot!
