Elsie blowing a kiss

something a little artsy. I was trying to get all the leaf-copters falling in the sky but they just didn't show up so I fixed the tree.

Monday

Not feeling the create for the day thing. Spent the day with Corey - she had surgery. She's doing well.
Course I was nice when I told the really sophisticated, dressed nice lady she had stuffed her skirt in her underwear when she came out of the bathroom. She was cute and had a great sense of humor about it.

Sunday

Create for the day: Watercolor of yellow roses Chuck gave me for Valentine's Day.
I have decided to embrace watercolor, learn all I can about it, practice techniques, and then break all the rules. I've taken one watercolor class years ago and one of the things he taught was "never use white always leave the paper without paint where you want white". So this has white paint in it because I believe rules, at least in painting and a few other areas, are made to be broken.

Saturday

Create for the day: Watercolor

Staying home for the 1st time in 3 weekends and cleaning. Yucky mess here.
And later work on Corey and John's pictures.

Friday

Thursday

Create for the day:
All things you can't see.
I helped a friend write a letter for an application to a school for her daughters.
I met with another artist and again did planning for future art projects.
I drew Corey's cat and wrote some witty things (on our kitchen white board) for Chuck to reply even more wittily to
(cause he's just better and quicker at that than I am)
and yes I checked the spelling of "wittily"
and of course I did my regular 9 to 5 which is actually 6 - 9:30 and 1:00 - 4:45, which requires
a lot of creative thinking when dealing with that many kids.
My littlest, age 4, I usually have to be alone with for a little bit so I sing to her and she repeats. She's
a super cutie!
Anyway I think that all fits the "being creative for the day" thing.

Wednesday

Create for the day: Post to my blog
Valentine flowers from Chuck

Sunday we came home and found these from Jesse - and they were yummy delicious!

Tuesday

create for the day: I visited with another artist (Tracy) and we set some goals for our work. We discussed ideas and had a good time just sharing about our art. I wasn't going to post any pictures but I just can't resist Mr. Doob. so I made some early valentine roses.
