Where I was born...on the road again, just can't wait to go home again...

Well, we're back on the road again. These pictures are on the way to where I was born. If I remember right we lived there a year then moved to Texas for 8 years, where all my siblings were born.
So far its not as cold but signs, they actually have signs on the road, were saying ice and snow expected tonight in Northern GA. We shall see..........

Jellico, TN where I was born-d.

Saturday

In the desert. Check out the snow clouds. This trip we saw lots of snow. The coldest was -01*, brrrrr... that was New Mexico. In Virginia, it was 26 degrees and it actually seemed colder. I guess dry cold isn't as cold as wet cold, whatever. It was a good trip, shorter is better but the compromise is less home time, 3 days will fly.

I wanted to try to start posting everyday but its just not possible. We didn't have cell phone coverage in Ohio and sometimes I'm just too busy, or too tired. So when I can post, I will. So far we've been to Ga., NC, Ohio, and TX. The weather hasn't been as bad as you see on the news - at least not for us.

Snow pictures, Ohio across the border from West Virgina. It was around 28 degrees.

Sunday

Corey and I went to Winter Park the other night, when it was cold, and got coffee at Starbucks (thanks Tricia) and walked around Park Ave.
It was really pretty.

Corey dreaming...
Corey talked me into going to the beach today. I've been sick for a week and haven't gone anywhere so I thought it might help. I don't know that it helped my illness but it definately lifted my spirits. The seagull in the background, she hit him with a shell and he just sat there. She laughed for 20 minutes. She is weird, like her dad, not meee...

I like the beach even crowded it's relaxing. I like it best when it's cold

and you can walk and drink coffee or hot chocolate.

Saturday

I've been really sick for a week now, pooh. I have been reading a lot and journaling. Trying to make some important decisions. Found out right now, I need to get my priorities straight, get God in 1st place like he needs to be. Sometimes we just let everything else take priority.
Here are some pictures from my new Christmas present.

Jesse playing with my camera.

The guinea pig Corey gave Elizabeth. He's really cute.
one of Tracy's seashells

Tweak, she's a booger.

Wednesday

So what are your new year's resolutions that you aren't going to keep?
Mine, haven't decided yet.
I was staying home to get stuff done but so far am too sick to do anything.
That really stinks.
Eric and Jesse are going back to California tomorrow. The time was too short.
Christmas flew by this year but it was a good one with everyone home.

Monday

The Poem
I knelt to pray but not for long,
I had too much to do.
I had to hurry and get to work
For bills would soon be due.
So I knelt and said a hurried prayer,
And jumped up off my knees.
My Christian duty was now done
My soul could rest at ease.....
All day long I had no time
To spread a word of cheer
No time to speak of Christ to friends,
They'd laugh at me I'd fear.
No time, no time, too much to do,
That was my constant cry,
No time to give to souls in need
But at last the time, the time to die.
I went before the Lord,
I came, I stood with downcast eyes.
For in his hands God! held a book;
It was the book of life.
God looked into his book and said
"Your name I cannot find
I once was going to write it down...
But never found the time"
